Lou Ferrigno, a retired bodybuilder and actor who is deaf, has been cast in a new television series.
Ferrigno is perhaps best known for his role as “The Incredible Hulk” in the U.S. TV series that ran in the ’70s. Now he’ll have another show to add to his full resume.

Lou Ferrigno has been added to a new series called “The Offer.” The 10-episode drama series will air on Paramount Plus. It’s based on the experience of two-time Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy (played by Miles Teller), about the behind-the-scenes events of the original 1972 film “The Godfather,” according to Variety. Ferrigno’s role is Lenny Montana, the former wrestler and mob enforcer who played Luca Brasi in “The Godfather.” Other well known actors in the cast include Justin Chambers, Giovanni Ribisi, and Colin Hanks.

Lou Ferrigno and Hearing Loss
Ferrigno, 69, had many ear infections after he was born. This resulted in a 75 to 80 percent hearing loss. He has been using hearing aids since he was four. As People reported, he was bullied growing up for his hearing aid and speech impediment. His hearing has declined with age, which led to him getting a cochlear implant in February 2021.

Ferrigno is working hard at his hearing rehab and is already extolling his new level of hearing.
